Dan Soriano
President
Dan Soriano began his company with a solid foundation. He had many years
of experience overseeing the construction of highly complex projects.
With his mastery of business operations and substantial resources, Resource
Builders has continued to tackle even the most sophisticated of projects.
Ever since, he has efficiently led his firm into being recognized as a
well respected commercial contractor.
Dan’s experience
in the industry is extensive. He has held superintendent positions with
such prestigious companies as Koll Construction, Gentosi Bros., Day Construction
and Kitchell Contractors. For each, he effectively completed large and
complex projects. From overseeing the $20 million three-story addition
and complete renovation of the Arcadia Robinson May Store to the construction
of Marriott’s Rancho Las Palmas Resort, Dan has proven his ability
to oversee any type of project.
In the 1970s Dan’s enthusiasm propelled him through the ranks as
a journeyman carpenter working for most all the major homebuilders. He
built many custom homes in Big Canyon, Lido, Corona Del Mar and Newport
Beach to name a few. Promoted into management, he supervised condo complexes
in Orange County and several hundred tract homes in the Thousand Oaks
area for Citation Homes.
In the early 1980s, Dan joined Koll Construction as a field superintendent
in their tenant improvement division. Dan supervised over 800,000 square
feet of office, retail and restaurant space before he was promoted to
the shell and core division. There, he coordinated the shell and core
construction of the twin 12-story towers at Koll Center Irvine North as
well as the basement and tunnel connection of the Transamerica Building
at Koll Center Irvine.
Dan attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa and Arizona State University
in Tempe, Arizona.
